Our Board of Directors

Problem Gambling Ireland - Board of Directors

Ray Murray:  Ray is Company Secretary.  He is a  former European Technical Director of Bausch & Lomb (Waterford) - the largest employer in the South East.  Ray is now retired from Bausch & Lomb.  Ray is a former board member of the Fight for Sight charity.  

Stephen Plunkett: Stephen Company Chairperson.  He is the CEO of the U-Casadh Project.  U-Casadh is a registered charity, working with ex-offenders and other socially-excluded groups.  Stephen is also a board member of Active Connections and Fab Foundation Ireland.  Stephen received an Arthur Guiness Fund Award and a Social Entrepreneurs Ireland Impact Award for his work with U-Casadh.  

Lisa Murphy: Lisa is a Development Officer with County Kilkenny Leader Partnership.  Lisa has a degree in Criminal Justice and is currently working on a research Masters.  

Keith Delaney: Keith is the Company Treasurer.  He is the APJ and EMEA Treasury Manager at Dell Ireland.    

Jay Collins: Jay is a Community Based Drugs Worker with the Waterford & South Tipperary Community Youth Services, based in Dungarvan.  Jay has a degree in addiction counselling and a Masters in Counselling & Psychotherapy.  Jay wrote his Degree thesis and his Masters dissertation on gambling addiction in Ireland.


Jim Bruton: Jim is the Coordinator of a Roma Community Project at U-Casadh.  Jim has a degree in Addiction Studies and is a co-founder of Social Entreprenueurs Ireland Elevator Award-winning, Active Connections.

Stephen Cashman: Stephen works with Merchant Quay Ireland and is currently engaged in a research Masters, looking at gambling among third level students in Ireland.

Michelle Byrne: Michelle is the Vice President for Campaigns at the Union of Students in Ireland.  

Jennifer Caffrey: Jennifer works at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and has previously worked for a State Gambling Regulatory Authority in Australia.
